Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
